Marketing for Homecare Agency Part 3 : Identifying your target market

Hi guys, I’m glad to see you here (yet again).

I hope you liked the previous videos on how marketing is an integral part of any business model. We’ve already spoken about the marketing tactics to be implemented and the cost associated to it. That brings us to the next and an important factor to be considered:

“WHO IS YOUR TARGET MARKET?”

Like I keep on telling my mentees, it’s crucial for a Homecare Agency or any Business organization to identify their target audience.

In fact, this particular point turns out to be the deciding factor of an organization’s success and is the differentiating aspect between a successful and an under-developed business model.

Enough of the theoretical insight, let’s talk something that you can relate directly.

Say, you’re surfing through an e-Commerce website finding a pair of sneakers. If you have shopped online before, you must be aware that you’ll be subjected to a plethora of shoe options ranging from a Sports shoe segment to a formal Derby collection. But you know what you need-a Sneaker. So, the very next thing you’re gonna do is probably hit the search tab or apply filters, which will enable you to land up on your desired products page; not to forget the provision you’ll have to select a particular brand, size, price range, or a desired color.

Well, finding you’re target audience works the same way as a filter or a search tab works while searching something. You definitely wouldn’t wanna offer post-partum companion services to someone who’s looking out for a chiropractor, would you?

Post scripting out your marketing campaign and estimating the budget for the same, you’d wanna optimize the results as much as possible. Identifying your ideal customer or target clientele yields you the outcome you’ve been expecting.

It’s my personal experience that if you are able to figure out who you need to serve to, half the battle is won!

So, my friend, in case you’re all set with your marketing material and with the budget scrutinized for the same, you better sit back and take a moment to shortlist the clients you’ll be pitching. This surely would create a funnel toward your prospect clients and the chances of closing a deal enhances.

To know more on how this works, I am waiting for you to watch this video.

Wait, there’s more. In the next part, I am going to talk about what to do when you start getting clients and referrals asking for your services.

Stay tuned!
